This is a genuine invitation (with raised printing) to the
luncheon that
JFK was heading to to give a speech on that fateful day Nov. 22, 1963.
It is numbered "1713" on back. It was not mailed and is as fresh
as the day it was printed. It has been folded (as it was prepared
to be mailed). A wonderful piece of history.

HELD THE EVENING OF PRESIDENT JOHN F. KENNEDY'S ASSASSINATION
INVITATION for the TEXAS
WELCOME DINNER FOR PRESIDENT JOHN F. KENNEDY ON FRIDAY EVENING THE TWENTY
SECOND OF NOVEMBER ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND SIXTY THREE at the MUNICIPAL
AUDITORIUM in the CITY of AUSTIN. Kennedy was assasinated in Dallas at noon this day before he was to
arrive in Austin. Tickets sold for ten dollars to see the President.
The invitation is wavy somewhat and has been stored
since November 1963 in Houston Texas by the original owner. Sells for
over $1,000 usually here only $495
